Event Helper

GlassStaff is Europe's biggest tabletop dice brand, and CritStones dice are designed in house by people who play.

  • Boskoop, the Netherlands
  • Part-time
  • Posted Apr 8, 2025

We pack the van and bring CritStones to conventions and TTRPG events across Europe: mostly the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, with regular trips to the UK, Switzerland, and new places as the calendar grows. Every one of those stands runs on event helpers, and the troop has room for more.

What you would do

  • Run the stand with us: build it in the morning, keep the tables full and tidy through the day, pack it down at the end.
  • Sell. Ring up orders, answer the questions (“what is liquid core?” is the big one), and help someone pick their first set of dice, which is a bigger moment than it sounds.
  • Talk dice, art and tabletop with everyone who stops, whether they play RPGs, push regiments across a battlefield, or are simply here for the shiny things.

Where it happens

Across Europe, weekends mostly. See where the banner flies next on the event calendar.

What you bring

  • A good mood that survives a ten-hour convention day.
  • A genuine liking for tabletop games. No experience needed; we teach you the products.
  • Legs and a voice: you will be on your feet, chatting with strangers, and handling sales with a smile.
  • The willpower to wait until your shift ends before buying the dice yourself.

Who you would be joining

A workshop full of nerds in Boskoop who design everything under the GlassStaff name in house and then drive it to the shows. Meet the Guild, or read how it started.

Interested? Use the apply button below. If you have never rolled a d20, you are still welcome. If you have, you already know why this is fun.

Want to know who you would be joining? Read our story, meet the crew on Meet the Guild, or find us on the event calendar and ask in person. The best conversations we have happen across a convention table anyway.

Sound like you? Tell us.

One email is enough: who you are, why this role, and whatever shows us what you can do. Short is fine.

Or write to info@glassstaff.com with the role in the subject line.
