Lead our booth to success at conventions across Europe 🎪⚔️

Are you someone who can plan as well as roll up their sleeves? Who directs a team as easily as they haul crates of dice and sell on a busy convention day? Then you might fit right in. And even if you have never rolled a d20: you can simply join our party.

GlassStaff and our brand CritStones have grown into a well-known name in the tabletop gaming scene over the past years. Our products are now stocked in more than 250 stores worldwide, and we are on the eve of much more growth.

Our team is a group of enthusiastic nerds and D&D lovers who work every day to bring our creations into the world. Everyone here has a passion for what we do, and you feel it in everything we make and sell. Together we are building a brand that does not just sell products but above all creates an experience.

The role

As Event Sales & Operations Manager you are responsible for the success of our convention appearances. You make sure everything is right: from preparation and planning to execution on the show floor. You work with a changing team of experienced and less experienced helpers, direct them and make sure everyone knows what needs to happen.

At the same time you are right in the middle of the action. You help build the booth, actively sell our products and keep an eye on what could do better commercially. You spot opportunities on the show floor and act on them right away, sometimes by presenting a product differently, sometimes by steering a conversation with a visitor just a little differently.

The goal is always the same: create the best possible convention experience and realize maximum sales.

What will you do?

  • Prepare, plan and coordinate our convention appearances
  • Direct and motivate the booth team during show days
  • Work hands-on on the build-up, sales and breakdown of the booth
  • Own sales on the show floor and keep optimizing it
  • Think along on product presentation, booth layout and commercial improvements
  • Travel to conventions in the Netherlands and abroad (roughly 20–30 per year)

Who are we looking for?

  • You are physically fit and enjoy working hands-on
  • You have organizational talent and switch easily between different people
  • You have a commercial mindset and feel at home in a sales role
  • You have a driver's license and do not mind driving a van
  • You think in solutions and stay calm when things get busy
  • You do not mind working weekends and sometimes being away from home for several days
  • You bring energy, enthusiasm and preferably an affinity with tabletop, fantasy or pop culture

Extra bonus points if you:

  • Have experience with in-person sales, conventions or events
  • Play Dungeons & Dragons (or at least know what a d20 is)
  • Have an affinity with retail, gaming or pop-culture communities

What do you get from us?

  • An adventurous job: travel to conventions in Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and beyond
  • Travel, lodging and food: always fully covered
  • A young, passionate and creative team full of tabletop lovers
  • A role in which you both lead and actively help build our brand experience
  • A market-rate salary, travel allowance and holiday pay
  • A great workplace in Boskoop with nerdy vibes (and a ping-pong table)
  • Room to grow within a fast-growing international brand

Sounds good?
